Two on campus fraternities have decided to appeal the borough's decision to revoke their rental permits.
Tau Kappa Epsilon, 346 E. Prospect Ave., and Phi Kappa Tau, 408 E. Fairmount Ave., were labeled "nuisance properties" by the State College Borough due to their excessive rental permit violations.
After receiving rental permit suspension, both fraternities had 15 days to appeal the borough's decision, and Borough Manager Tom Fountaine said both fraternities have decided to go through with the appeal.
Fountaine said the next step would include meetings with representatives from both fraternities, as well as their local advisors and possibly legal council to review their cases.
The meetings will occur sometime after Thanksgiving Fountaine said.
