My husband, a Penn State engineering graduate, just turned 48 on Nov. 15. I overheard him mention that he wished he could have gone to a game with his son, a senior at Penn State, this Saturday in the student section "painted up with the students."
So my son, who helped establish Paternoville and has always been "on the line as a letter," got his dad a student ticket and a spot on the line for the last home game of the season. What a thrill when my husband opened the ticket. Now father and son will be lettered and painted up for this Saturday's game. Our other son, who is a sophomore at Penn State, is also trying to get a spot on the line for this memorable day.
My father-in-law said I should make a doctor appointment now for Monday and I certainly hope those students know CPR.
Anyway, look for the older student with gray hair having the time of his life.
