Police say man head butted officer

Penn State University Police reported that charges were filed yesterday against Jeffrey J. Suhow, of Avoca, who allegedly attempted to head butt an officer after he was apprehended for alleged public intoxication outside the D gate of Beaver Stadium Sept. 16.

University police said Suhow threatened to shoot the officers in the head and had to be restrained.

Suhow was charged with aggravated assault; terroristic threats; possession of marijuana; purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or malt or brewed beverage; and public drunkenness.

Student out on bail arrested for drugs

State College police said that a Penn State student who was out on bail for possession of cocaine with intent to deliver was arrested yesterday on separate drug charges after a police-controlled buy.

Jacob Dabrowski, 24, was arraigned before Centre County District Judge Jonathan Grine yesterday and placed in Centre County prison in lieu of $75,000 straight bail, State College police Sgt. Chris Fishel said.

Dabrowski was arrested for possession with intent to deliver psilocybin mushrooms, Fishel said.

He added that a search warrant was obtained for Dabrowski's residence, 231 S. Atherton St., Apt. 2A, and additional drugs were found. Charges are pending against Dabrowski as a result of the search.

Dabrowski was arrested in June on four counts of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, Fishel said.

He was out on bail at the time of the arrest yesterday, Fishel said.
