Mr. Fallon, if you claimed in Thursday's column ("Columnist bids farewell to Republicans," Nov. 9) that you grew a brain and became liberal, why then did you fill your entire column with the same democratic talking points that have been in use for the past 12 years?
Surely, you could have used that brain of yours and thought up something new to talk about.
But rather than tearing apart your cut-and-paste-from-the-DNC-Web site column, I wanted to look at two points you made.
You said in your column that the Republicans "dictate my personal life and what I choose to do with it."
Would you mind explaining how?
Oh wait, lowering your taxes gave you more money so you couldn't live on welfare like true liberals.
Yeah, I see your point now.
You also talked about the GOP reducing freedoms.
What freedoms?
What freedoms have you lost? In the past six years, I've heard a lot about freedoms being lost, but I still haven't found a liberal who can name one.
Name just one, please.
So Mr. Fallon, go cheer your Democratic win and gloat.
Just remember, the Dems who won ran as conservatives.
