Land Grant Trophy to be decided at noon
ESPN2 will nationally televise the Penn State-Michigan State football game on Saturday, November 18. Coach Joe Paterno will lead the Nittany Lions into the regular season finale for both teams at 12:00 p.m. ET in Beaver Stadium.
More than 20 Penn State seniors will be introduced before the Senior Day contest.
Penn State and Michigan State have met annually since 1993, with the winner claiming the Land Grant Trophy.
Michigan State and Penn State were the nation's first two Land Grant institutions, founded 10 days apart in 1855.
The Nittany Lions have appeared on television in 148 of their last 150 games.
Penn State defeated Michigan State, 31-22, last season to knot the all-time series, 11-11-1. The teams have annually met in the last game of the season since the Nittany Lions began play in the Big Ten in 1993.
The Spartans host Minnesota on Saturday before the contest with the Nittany Lions.
