This is in response to the letter "Ed Rendell deserves credit for his campaign strategy" (Nov. 3).
If Gov. Rendell were as benevolent as Jim Coder would have us believe, perhaps he would have vetoed the disgraceful 2005 legislative pay raise. Instead he signed a minimum wage hike into law that will inflate consumer prices and force many businesses to cut jobs.
Why would Rendell do something that would make it harder for us to attract business to the state?
Such a blatant about-face suggests an attempt to distract voters from his unproductive first term, not genuine concern for Pennsylvanians.
