Hail to the Chicken Man, whoever you are.

The question shouldn't be, who is the real Chicken Man? It should be, why is the attention coming now?

The Chicken Man has always been a staple at Penn State from what I can remember. I was a freshman back in 1997, and I can remember the Chicken Man walking around downtown promoting Cluck-U, pumping people up on game days and of course roaming around the student section during games.

His presence seemed to be everywhere and the excitement surrounding him was as much of a fad then as it seems to be today.

Hopefully future chicken men can appreciate the path that was forged by the chicken men of the past. It seems to be a fun tradition. Let's just hope the university doesn't ban it.
