Theft: A State College resident reported the theft of a Compaq HP silver laptop, valued at $1,800, Friday from an apartment on the 500 block of Locust Lane, the State College Police Department said.
Theft: A red Johnson chainsaw, valued at $300, was reported stolen Friday from a closed, unlocked shed on the 1400 block of West Branch Road, the State College Police Department said.
Theft: A woman reported to the State College Police Department that her purse and its contents were stolen Friday at Candy Bar and Lounge, 129 1/2 S. Pugh St. The purse contained a Samsung camera, MP3 phone and $30 cash, a total value of $530, police said.
Simple Assault: A State College resident was admitted to Mount Nittany Medical Center for a minor laceration to the nose and bruises from a confrontation with her boyfriend at about 1:30 a.m. yesterday on the 100 block of Jack Mill Drive, the State College Police Department said. Police said the man will be charged with simple assault for the incident.
Simple Assault: A female allegedly hit a male on the head with her high-heeled shoes at 1:45 a.m. yesterday on the 200 block of East Beaver Avenue. The male went to Mount Nittany Medical Center for a laceration. Charges are pending, according to the State College Police Department.
Assault: A female was struck on the right cheek with a beer bottle at about 1 a.m. yesterday at the Saloon, 101 Hiester St., the State College Police Department said. Police said the incident is under investigation.
