An armed man suspected of robbing a State College bank Friday afternoon is still on the run, and police have yet to name a suspect or confirm any leads.
Police said Reliance Bank, 1824 S. Atherton St., was robbed at about 3 p.m. by an unknown white man, who is described as in his early 30s to late 40s, 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build.
The suspect fled the scene after brandishing a handgun and obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, according to a State College Police Department press release.
The suspect was described as wearing a dark baseball cap, round-rimmed sunglasses, a dark jacket and blue jeans at the time of incident, according to the press release. Police added that the man appeared to have long gray hair and a gray mustache, which may have been a disguise.
Yellow police tape surrounded the scene while State College FBI, State College police and a K-9 unit searched for evidence.
