Today's University Park forecast
The cold air mass currently over the area will be moving out today, with
daytime temperatures returning to near 50. Overnight, clearing skies and
calm winds will result in chilly temperatures. A low pressure system
from the southwest will be moving our way, so expect increasing
cloudiness during the day Friday. Moderate to heavy rain will arrive
Friday night and last into Saturday. Gusty winds, coupled with the rain,
will make for quite unpleasant conditions. Look for more favorable
weather on Sunday and into next week with clearing skies and rebounding
temperatures.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
