Paternoville assault story presents blurry information
I found the headline "Woman reports assault at Paternoville" very offensive. To say that she was assaulted at Paternoville carries with it the implication that she was assaulted near tents outside of Gate A. She, however, claims that she was assaulted outside of Gate B. It was game day, there were no tents, and she was not near Gate A. So, she was obviously not assaulted at Paternoville. To change the meaning of Paternoville to account for any negative game day events is unacceptable and done too often. Paternoville is about pride, good spirits and positive energy. I thus find it unacceptable for a student newspaper to invest in such an ignorant and untrue connotation in the headline of an article. It is in these connotations that more bans will be raised against Paternoville. Trevor Cowser
