Penn State quarterbacks Anthony Morelli and Daryll Clark have been medically cleared to play in Saturday's homecoming contest against Illinois.
Morelli, the Nittany Lions' starter, and Clark - his backup - sustained mild concussions against Michigan last week. Third string quarterback Paul Cianciolo finished the game for Penn State.
The decision to clear Morelli and Clark came this afternoon after the two had been observed closely throughout the week by Penn State's medical staff. Neither practiced on Monday, but the pair did partake in light, non-contact action on Tuesday.
