Letter to the Editor
Congratulations in order for new UPUA president

As a student here at Penn State, I'm sure I don't stand alone when saying that I would like to have a good president representing the university. Jay Bundy, in Friday's Collegian, said. "...they deserve a president who is going to give the worst performance to the best of his ability."

Who really wants such an irresponsible person like that as the president of the University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA)? Jay Bundy said he wasn't the right person for the job. That is a poor, unacceptable attitude to have for this role. In addition, his cursing doesn't help students to take him seriously. I don't understand why so many people voted for him.

In Monday's Collegian, the article, "Bundy ousted, Chamberlin wins," said Bundy exceeded his spending limit for the campaign, which led to his disqualification. Congratulations to Jay Chamberlin and thanks to the elections commission for saving us from the worst, most inappropriate person to be president of the UPUA.
