Cash stolen from organization's office
Penn State University Police said $465 cash was taken from a cash box in a student organization's office in the HUB-Robeson Center overnight between Monday and Tuesday. Police said it is unclear if the office was locked and they will review camera footage from the area.
Woman reports assault at Paternoville
A Philadelphia woman reported that she was harassed and shoved to the ground by residents of "Paternoville" Oct. 12 because they believed she was a Michigan fan, Penn State University Police said. Police said the victim reported that she was walking past Gate B of Beaver Stadium when several people started yelling because of Michigan apparel she was wearing. At some point, the victim was shoved from behind, but not injured, police said. The incident is still under investigation.
Police say student harassed with crow
Two unknown students entered Fisher Commons and placed a dead crow on a table where a student was studying at about 3 a.m. yesterday, Penn State University Police said. The victim told police the two males placed the bird on the table and then yelled profanities at her before leaving. There are no suspects, police said.
