Chicago Sun-Times columnist Jennifer Hunter spoke about her journalism experiences in front of a packed Foster Auditorium this morning.

Hunter read four of her editorials, and answered questions about her reporting experiences and finding story ideas. Hunter writes about women's issues and current events, but politics remains her favorite topic, she said.

"I love writing about politics, especially in Chicago," she said. "It's fantastic and mesmerizing. There's so much corruption and still remnants of Al Capone."

Her 50-minute lecture served as the conclusion the Foster Conference of Distinguished Speakers.
