Anthony Morelli and Daryll Clark are in a similar condition and their status for the Illinois game will not be determined until Thursday, Joe Paterno said earlier today at his weekly press conference.

Neither quarterback practiced yesterday, but both will participate in non-contact drills today. According to Paterno, the doctors said they needed a few more days to evaluate and observe the two in order to make a call.

Yesterday, Morelli's status was labeled "possible" by a Penn State press release.

If Clark and Morelli aren't ready to go, Paterno said Paul Cianciolo would get the starting nod. Kevin Suhey would be the backup.
