PSU should look at Paternoville issues

Just as there are complaints that young people don't do anything spontaneously anymore, Penn State sets up guidelines to keep them from doing something spontaneous -- Paternoville.

Can't "The Man" stay out of anything?

These kids want a special way to support their team for a big game, and they should be allowed to do so in their own time frame.

I understand the bans on electricity, but what about the rest of the bans?

These Penn State students are reliable and intelligent adults who wouldn't have been accepted to Penn State if they were not; they have rotation systems to attend classes.

If there is an issue with Paternoville for a big late night game, it is that the students are forced to stand in a very crowded line with no room to even move for eight to 10 hours outside the stadium once their tents have been taken away with no food (unless they have food brought by parents or alumni) and no bathrooms.

I know this because, before last year's Ohio State game, I was one of those parents.

If the university thinks it needs to "fix" Paternoville, these are the issues that should be addressed.
