Police Log

Criminal Mischief: State College police reported an unknown person broke into PNC Bank, 122 E. College Ave., through a window in the roof sometime overnight Thursday. Nothing was taken, and the incident is still under investigation.

Criminal Mischief: State College police reported someone cut through the soft-top of a Mazda Miata Friday at 110 E. Foster Ave., causing more than $1,000 in damage.

Theft: A student resident of Hartranft Hall reported to Penn State University police that an iPod, valued at $350, was taken from his unlocked dorm room sometime between midnight and 7 a.m. Sept. 26.

Theft: A student resident of Nittany Apartments reported to Penn State University police that an iPod, valued at $300, was taken from her room between 2:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Oct. 4.

Theft: A visitor reported to Penn State University police that his cell phone, valued at $450, was taken from Beaver Stadium between 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30 and 8 a.m. Oct. 1.

Theft: State College police reported that a $650 bicycle was stolen from a front porch at 701 W. College Ave., sometime between 6 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
