Pitt-Penn State idea truly not valid solution

In response to "Alum finds solution to Pitt-PSU problem," honestly I do not think that you have offered any solution at all. I am originally from Pittsburgh and both my parents attended Pitt.

I agree it would be great to see a Pitt-Penn State game.

However, there has been a huge shortage of tickets at Beaver Stadium just for the Penn State fans, especially students.

If I'm not mistaken you are asking Penn State to give Pitt 32,000 tickets, one-half of Heinz Field's capacity. That's ridiculous. That is more than eight times the amount of tickets we give to any other visiting school. Counting all season and student tickets, where are the "empty" seats going to come from? Seriously, great solution.

I'm sure that the athletic department will love giving up that many seats to a home game.

Just one last thing. What was the point of stating that most of the locals in Pittsburgh didn't graduate college? I do not think that was relevant, nor completely factual. Way to have pride for your new town.
