Soaring Club President Jeff Johnson (senior-industrial engineering) glides in a Blanik L13 from Ridge Soaring Gilderport on Tuesday Afternoon. The club, which meets every weekend in Julian, has three gliders that use rising air currents to lift the aircraft.
