Alum finds solution to Pitt-PSU problem

I live in the Pittsburgh area and the locals (most of whom haven't graduated from college) continue to renew their effort to have the University of Pittsburgh play on the same field as Penn State. They blame JoePa for wanting a two-for-one in home game commitment, and they say that isn't fair.

I have another alternative, which is fair. When Penn State is to play Pitt at Heinz Field, require Pitt to give Penn State half of the tickets to the game and when Pitt visits Beaver Stadium, we provide them with the same number of tickets to equal one-half the seating capacity of Heinz Field. This could be a boon to local Pittsburgh area alumni associations as well as energizing them. If either Penn State or Pitt cannot sell their allotment of tickets by Oct. 1, the tickets would go back to the home team, we all know the Penn State tickets would sell.

The other advantage of this fair deal is that it guarantees Penn State would have the home field advantage no matter what field they are on.
