Students attempt to damage bleachers

Four students were cited for criminal mischief for attempting to damage bleachers during Saturday's football game.

According to Penn State University Police, Bryan Show and Francis Moses, both of New Castle, and Samuel Eckel and Jason Kramer, both of Perkasie, were escorted from the stadium after University Police observed them doing damage to a bench in student section SE.

Tyrone Parham, university police assistant director, said the investigation is ongoing as police talk to other students involved and review camera footage of the incident. There is currently no damage estimate.

Car strikes female student downtown

A female student was struck by a car on West College Avenue as she crossed the street Sunday, State College police said. An unknown driver was turning off College Avenue onto South Patterson Street when he or she hit Allison Morra, of State College.

Morra was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center. Her injuries are unknown.
