Today's University Park forecast

Rain showers will move into the region today ahead of a low pressure system that has been developing over the Great Lakes. These showers, which may be heavy at times, are expected to last into the day Friday. We will experience a brief reprieve from the rain Friday night and early Saturday with partly cloudy skies and chillier temperatures. However, another storm system approaching from the west will bring cloudiness again to Happy Valley by game time. Although no rain showers are expected for the game, the wet weather will pick up Saturday evening and last into Sunday.
