The first Race Against Racism was held this morning in the East Halls quad. In addition to the race, a diversity fair was held to promote diversity and multiculturalism. Tables were set up and run by students to inform students about awareness.

Lizz Collins (junior-theater and womens studies), from the Coalition of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered and Allies resource center, provided pamphlets to inform students of their cause.

"The goal is to reach out to students who feel they don't have anyone to talk to and provide resources so they know what is available to them," Collins said.
