In response to Ms. Drescher-Lipcsak's letter, if my child someday elects to attend Notre Dame, and (heaven forbid) decides to play in the school's marching band, I am proud to say that I would stand up and be one of the 110,000 strong to boo my son or daughter that day. Not only would it help to build character of the child, but also, it may finally show him or her what a big mistake he or she made by not following in my footsteps.
