IFC to switch student representation

A prominent topic of last night's Interfraternity Council President's meeting was the switch in student government from the Undergraduate Student Government to the University Park Undergraduate Association.

Frank Keller, university relations chairman, reminded attendees of the importance of running for seats in the new student government.

Joe Coulter, community relations chairman, introduced the council to a landscaping competition, which is projected to take place this spring. Coulter explained that, during this event, the fraternities will revamp and clean up their yards in order to establish a better relationship with the surrounding community.

Stephen Hulick, vice president of standards, reminded attendees of the importance of keeping a guest list at parties.

The next IFC President's Council meeting will be Oct. 3rd.
