Female resident reports sexual assault

A State College woman reported that she had been the victim of sexual assault around 4:30 a.m. Sunday at a residence on the 1100 block of Smithfield Street, the State College Police said.

Justin Allen Cluck, 30, of Arlington, Va., was charged with rape and sexual assault and is currently being held at the Centre County Correctional Facility on $10,000 straight bail.

The two parties had met earlier Saturday night at the residence of a mutual friend, according to court documents. Neither are Penn State students or lived at the residence where the assault took place, according to court documents. Police said alcohol was a factor in the assault.

Cluck will have his preliminary hearing in the next two weeks.
