Let me start off by saying two words that are really pissing me off as of late: Michelle Wie.
For all of you who don't know who she is, she's this "up and coming child prodigy" who thinks she can play competitively on the PGA Tour. I can't stand hearing about how good she is and how amazing of a star she will become some day.
In the sports world, it's all about "What are you doing for me now?" After her final round, which was an 81 in this weekend's PGA Tour Men's 84 Lumber Classic, I think its about time for her to stop playing with the men.
Stop comparing yourself to men. Stop thinking you are as good as the men. You're not, and you never will be. She's played in 12 men's tournaments and has only made the cut once.
However, this tournament was the SK Telecom Open on the Asian Tour where all you need is a heartbeat to make the cut. Then she goes and compares herself to Tiger Woods. Give me a break. Win something on the LPGA tour first to start talking trash.
Because we all know that if she ever got the chance to play Tiger straight up, it would be the most embarrassing time of her life. My dog would put up a better match than she would. Thanks.
