Sweat-free rallying call works for Penn State

I just had this great idea. I want to hang banners on the front of the Burrowes, Willard, Chambers, Wagner, Borland and Sparks buildings that say "Keep Penn State Sweat-Free!" Penn State is the second most expensive state school in the nation and as a function of this, we are afforded amenities that rival those of any school, public or private.

However, we are faced every single day with the ghastly prospect of sitting anywhere from 50 to 75 minutes per class in buildings with central air and heating systems that are less than effective, to say the least.

Even more to the point, about 10 percent of these class times are invariably spent discussing how uncomfortable it is in the classroom. This is why we must modernize our classrooms and "Keep Penn State sweat-free!"
