Mother acknowledges kindness at ball game
I wanted to send a big thank you out to a group of Penn State students that was sitting in front of my family at a recent Spikes game. During one of the innings a foul ball came our way. The foul ball did not enter the stands but ended up near the visiting team's bullpen. The group of students got one of the relief pitcher's attention and asked for the ball. He tossed them the ball and they immediately turned and handed it to my three-year-old son. They did not have to do this. They could have kept the ball for themselves. However, this small action made my son's day. He was so excited. He of course did thank the group. At some point we left our seats. When we returned to the seats to thank them again and give them something that he had just won in the Kids Zone, the group was already gone. So, to that group of students, thank you. He is still talking about what you did for him today. Jodi Ehrensberger
