Penn State President Graham Spanier said today he will propose a "modest but fair" pay increase for "faculty and staff" at Friday's Board of Trustees meeting.

In today's Faculty Senate meeting, the Senate also debated requiring each student to own a computer. However, it approved a motion to continue the current computer policy which states that the University will keep providing public access computers but advises students to bring their own.
