After hearing for a solid week how Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis had respect for the Lions, he surely didn't show it. Notre Dame played great and Penn State didn't. But his team clearly didn't have to rub it in like they did.
When you're going for it on fourth down, running fake punts when the game was well in hand is not a sign of respect. It is a sign of disrespect. I know Weis is looking for a national title this year, but to engage in stat padding against a team he respects so much is insulting.
I hope this carries in the minds of all of Nittany Nation when they come to our house next year.
