Shortlidge Road was closed yesterday from 8 to 10:30 a.m. after a forklift leaked gallons of hydraulic fluid onto the pavement. The area between Curtin Road and Park Avenue, as well as parking lots Green D, Green G and Green J, became too slippery to allow vehicles to drive safely.

Penn State University Police said there were no injuries and no complaints.
