Today's University Park forecast
Scattered showers will linger throughout today as the weak storm system
that brought rain yesterday slowly exits the region. The stretch of wet,
gray weather will end by tonight, with some clearing expected by sunrise
tomorrow. Warm, sunny weather will finally return to State College
tomorrow and for the remainder of the week. Temperatures will rebound
into the mid to upper 70s by Friday, with some areas approaching the 80s
by the start of the weekend. Our next chance of rain will arrive early
next week, which may usher in cooler air for the start of the fall
season.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
