Party rep affects students, fans' tailgating experience

Here's some great irony for you. While Graham Spanier, his sidekick Bill "the spin machine" Mahon and all their rich administrative buddies sip martinis in the Beaver Stadium suites during football games, regular people who can't get into the game are no longer allowed to tailgate with their friends in the parking lot.

This new ruling is an obvious knee-jerk reaction to Penn State being ranked as the No. 2 party school, being ranked the best place to tailgate and its football weekends being ranked as one of the best sporting experiences in the country. Many people are not able to get into games, but they come up for the weekend anyway to see friends and have a good time tailgating, while pumping money into the town.
