Today's University Park forecast
As high pressure settles over the Centre Region today, excessive and
dangerous heat and humidity will return to the area. Keep an eye on the
temperature, as we may be breaking our daily record high today. The
hazy, hot, and humid weather will last through this evening and into
tomorrow. A cold front, currently poised over the Midwest, will sweep
through the region during the afternoon and evening hours on Thursday,
bringing much-needed relief from the heat, in the form of some
thunderstorms. It will still feel warm by the time the storms move out
on Friday, but it will also be noticeably less humid.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
