Choice of words incorrect, but opinion still stands
In response to Walter Kowalski's letter, "All opinions need respect" July 31, yes, the expression of my opinion of the protestors was too harsh. I should not have said "hate." However, I do feel a profound disrespect for the Israelis that are protesting a war that Israel did not start, a war that Hezbollah has been provoking for six years, with every incursion into Northern Israel. Even if Israeli military operations end, the Katusha attacks won't. Terrorists don't bargain, and I think that's the point the protesters don't realize. Vicki Korchagin
