In response to Walter Kowalski's letter, "All opinions need respect" July 31, yes, the expression of my opinion of the protestors was too harsh. I should not have said "hate." However, I do feel a profound disrespect for the Israelis that are protesting a war that Israel did not start, a war that Hezbollah has been provoking for six years, with every incursion into Northern Israel. Even if Israeli military operations end, the Katusha attacks won't. Terrorists don't bargain, and I think that's the point the protesters don't realize.
