A Centre County judge ruled against former Penn State football player Lavon Chisley's lawyer, who contested that Chisley was being illegally detained in Maryland on drug charges that are pending in Centre County.

Student radio station WKPS-FM (90.7) The Lion has begun to feel the sting of new University Park Allocation Committee (UPAC) policies meant to stretch the decreased amount of money that UPAC will have to distribute this year.

If past success is any indication of how newly appointed Penn State men's tennis coach Todd Doebler will lead his team, the Nittany Lions will make some noise on the national level this season.

During the last night's rain delay, two Auburn Doubledays players -- left handed pitcher Wilfreddy Aguirre and infielder Emmanuel Sena -- were dancing and joking in the visitors dugout, but it was the State College Spikes bullpen that was the punchline.

Even when the rain clouds rolled in last night and delayed the contest between the State College Spikes and Auburn Doubledays almost three hours, there was still a clearing for Spikes infielder A.J. Van Slyke.
