Today's University Park forecast
Temperatures are poised to remain above average for the balance of the
week. As with any summer afternoon, the heating of the day time can make
the atmosphere unstable, so widely scattered thunderstorms are possible
this evening and into tomorrow. Temperatures will peak near 90 with
increased humidity on Thursday before a cold front will cross through
the area that afternoon, providing us with our best chance of storms
this week. Most storms will clear out during the day on Friday, leaving
behind warm yet less humid conditions for the weekend.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
