Students not deserving of extra football tickets

Attending football games at Penn State is a great time and something that I always looked forward to as a student. It is understandable that many students who wanted tickets and did not get them are upset. But to think that you are entitled to them because you are a student is wrong. There are only 21,000 tickets allotted to the students, so not every student will be able to get tickets. To demand more tickets be made available is ridiculous and immature. I would have liked tickets to the Notre Dame game this year, but I don't have the required 822 points to get them. Should I demand that Notre Dame allot more tickets? I don't think the university needs to grow up - it is the students who need to grow up. Life does not always go your way. If you don't learn that and how to deal with it before you leave school, you are in for a long hard life.

There really is not an issue here to settle. Once the last ticket was sold, it was settled. So with this experience you should learn to make yourself aware of when the tickets go on sale and act quickly when they do.
