Complaints about ticket situation need to stop

As a recent graduate, I've been trying to stay up-to-date with the happenings at Penn State, and I'm pretty depressed by it all. I've read and heard so much about the student ticket fiasco and now Penn State gets snubbed by ESPN. Here's a concept: stop whining.

You want to talk about how great of a student section we have and how we need more tickets? Turn around at kickoff and tell me how many empty seats there are if we're playing anyone other than a big-time team. If you want to be a fan, then you need to actually be there for the game.

Don't complain.

You want to say ESPN's rankings don't show Penn State respect? My question is, "who cares?" What happened to loving the school and making the most of your experience regardless of what kind of applause you get from ESPN? In the end, we need to spend less time talking and more time doing something. You want to show Penn State that students need more tickets? Be there for the whole game. You want to complain about ESPN? Screw ESPN.

Regardless of what some online poll says, if you feel Penn State is the best place in the world - which it is - then be happy with that and continue making it the best place in the world, but don't be upset when someone doesn't pat you on the back for it.
