Today's University Park forecast
The weather pattern over the next several days will be good news for
sunbathers, but bad news for farmers and those hoping to end the state’s
drougt watch. Mostly sunny skies will be the norm, and no rain is
currently expected until the middle of next week. This forecast for a
long dry stretch is due in large part to the fact that the jet stream,
which steers storms, is far to the north in Canada, so no storms are
likely to track our way in the near future. Temperatures should stay in
the 60s, around seasonal averages, for most of the period.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
