In response to Walid Dimachkie's letter regarding the controversy surrounding Josh Stulman's art exhibit, you had my support until you invoked the term "occupation" for the recognized Israeli government and used loaded imagery surrounding the Middle East conflict ("Readers respond to issues surrounding censorship of art exhibit," April 27).
The average student has little knowledge of the realities taking place in Israel every day. Presenting only one side displays the same irresponsibility as the art exhibit in question. I am Jewish and against Stulman's work, not because he doesn't have the right to show it in a gallery, but because his advertisements forced such hateful language and opinions on those who chose not to see his show. Shame on you for doing the same in The Daily Collegian.
