Letter to the Editor
USG members fail to accept demotion to average group

Ever since Undergraduate Student Government (USG) lost its recognition, there has been an article about USG in The Daily Collegian almost daily. To me, it's reminiscent of that senile widow who lost her husband in World War II but still sets the table for him at dinner, waiting for him to come home. The delusion is heartbreaking and nauseating at the same time. Well, he's not coming home, and to USG, you're not the student government anymore. You might as well find something better to do. You can still exist as a club, but USG was the student government, and what is a government without power? Rather pointless.

To really top things off, the Collegian feels the incessant need to report on every minute detail of USG. I would rather not read it, and I can guarantee there is more interesting stuff to report. To tell you the truth, I'd rather read an article, "Willard Preacher Spreads Gospel," every day than these pathetic USG stories.
