State College hosted several memorable events and personalities throughout the spring 2006 semester. Country artist Martina McBride performed at the Bryce Jordan Center at the beginning of the year. Magician David Copperfield wowed crowds at Eisenhower Auditorium in January. Rascall Flatts played the BJC in February. Freestyle Motocross riders threw down stunts at the competition held at the BJC in March. Penn State Alumnus and Real World star John “Bananas” Devenanzio visited the HUB to speak for STA travel. Talib Kweli took over the HUB lawn during the Movin' On festival and the next night Live played the BJC to cap off Blue and White weekend 2006.
