I was troubled to read that The Daily Collegian's editorial board assumed the productivity of the new Undergraduate Student Government was due to the university's recognition of the University Park Undergraduate Association ("Undergraduate Student Government: Plan should focus on helping students," April 24).

In doing so, the board failed to recognize the quality of new leadership. I would suggest that the board attribute at least some of USG's renewed focus on its fresh, non-Galen Foulke-like leadership.
