Letter to the Editor
Readers respond to university cancellation of student art exhibit

It worries me that people could even think of hosting an exhibit that has the potential to stir up propaganda against a minority ("PSU censors exhibit," April 21). The political conflict of Middle East has two sides to it, and presenting it in a biased manner depicts one group as terrorists bent on mindless destruction of the other people. This is a hurtful depiction of hundreds of Penn State students who come from overseas to study, seek a peaceful life and contribute to the cultural mosaic of this campus.

I applaud the decision to pull this exhibit. Josh Stulman is entitled to his views, but he should respect the safety and well being of his peers on campus.
