Blue-White weekend
Schedule of Events

It takes both talent and experience to pull off an 11-1, Orange Bowl-winning season. A skilled senior class of 2005 that led Penn State back into the national spotlight is now gone, leaving a slew of talented, yet young Nittany Lions to pick up where they left off. The leadership of Michael Robinson, Alan Zemaitis and Matthew Rice helped steer Penn State in the right direction, but who will take charge in their absence?

It's only temporary, he knows, but Sean Lee is taking as much from his time working as a first-team linebacker as he possibly can, even if some of the best lessons are coming from the man whose spot he's occupying.

Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing close to 290 pounds, one wouldn't expect rising senior defensive tackle Jay Alford to ever use the word "scared."

In an age where Terrell Owens' demands warrant more attention than his performance, it's easy to forget about the humble athlete. And on a team where Derrick Williams and Justin King garner most of the spotlight, old-school guys have a tendency to get lost in the shuffle.

My Opinion: Sirage Yassin
