I do not think this decision did enough for Jennifer Harris. It is true that there was a $10,000 punishment in the form of a fine ("PSU finds Portland in violation of policy," April 19), but will be done with that money? Will Harris be compensated? Will it be used to pay Harris's legal expenses? We need to know a little bit more about the punishment.

I would like to see an apology from Penn State women's basketball coach Rene Portland. I would like to see her express some regret for the problems she has caused Harris. I would like her to say she is sorry. I would like her to say she is sorry and mean it when she says it.

I realize that if there is pending litigation against Portland, her legal counsel would advise her to make no further comment.
