This is in response to the letter, "College Republicans' game shows inherent hate, bias," April 18. Jerry Hooten, I am sick of hearing anti-American liberals like you using the race card against people who have the guts to stand up and bring attention to a very serious problem facing this country: invasion of the gate crashers.

Our great nation is built on a foundation of laws. Apparently, our existing immigration laws do not matter to you and your liberal friends. Most Americans are fed up with these illegals riding on the "free loader express" at the expense of taxpayers. They have no interest in becoming Americans and learning our language; they're more interested in bringing Mexico into the United States.

The Republicans are right in their demand to "yank the welcome mat" from these invaders. No more free education, no free health care, and no more public assistance.

The next time you write in to The Daily Collegian, debate the Republicans on substance and don't use the race card.
